Water University Events Richland Chambers Watershed Meeting

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has identified several water quality issues in local creeks and lakes located in Ellis and Navarro Counties, within the Richland-Chambers Reservoir watershed. The Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD), in cooperation with Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Service, invite you to attend a public meeting to discuss these issues.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide information, solicit stakeholder input, and garner support for the development of a voluntary Watershed Protection Plan that will voluntarily address local water quality issues and help avoid potential regulatory actions by the State.
Representatives from various entities will be on hand to present information and answer questions about water quality and urban stormwater, agricultural and rural practices, educational tools, and more.

Lunch will be provided.
